  • ½ cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon apple pie spice
  • ¼ cup melted butter (for topping)

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Reduce the apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat until it’s halved (about 20-30 minutes). Allow it to cool.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together room temperature butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the cooled reduced apple cider along with flour, baking powder, baking soda, apple pie spice, and salt until just combined.
