  • 33 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 tablespoons salted butter (softened)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 5 ounces cream cheese
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup blackberry filling (reserved from filling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blackberry filling by combining blackberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and warm water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until thickened and then set aside.
  2. Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm milk and sugar; allow it to froth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, Greek yogurt, egg, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and vanilla pudding mix; stir well.
  4. Gradually incorporate flour until a soft dough forms. Knead gently on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter evenly over it. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and reserved blackberry filling before rolling tightly and slicing into pieces.
  6. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise until doubled in size. Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, prepare the frosting by mixing cream cheese with softened butter; gradually add corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and powdered sugar until smooth.
