  • 1 lb ground beef (or sirloin)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the ground beef with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and simmer gently before whisking in all cheeses until smooth.
  5. Toss cooked spaghetti with the creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.
  6. Fold in seared beef and let simmer for a couple of minutes to meld flavors.
