  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one pack of crescent roll dough into a baking dish, pressing down to cover the bottom.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and ¾ cup sugar; beat until smooth. Add in the egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Pour the cheesecake filling over the first layer of dough. Unroll the second package of dough on top, sealing any gaps.
  5. Mix together ½ cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon; sprinkle over the top layer.
  6. Bake for about 28 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature for an hour before refrigerating for at least two hours before slicing.
