  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 small cucumber, grated and excess moisture squeezed out
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tzatziki sauce by combining Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Mix well and refrigerate.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, onion powder, salt, pepper, and a beaten egg until combined.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Shape the turkey mixture into meatballs (about 1–2 inches each) and cook for 6–8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Serve warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.
