  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup dry apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • 4 thick slices of French or Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread garlic butter on bread slices and bake for 8-10 minutes until toasted.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Season shrimp with salt and pepper; add to skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and apple vinegar (or broth); simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice, then return shrimp to skillet to coat in sauce.
  5. Serve shrimp in bowls with warm garlic bread on the side.
