  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • Reserved pasta water, as needed

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sear chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown, about 6–8 minutes; remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey and let simmer for 1 minute before adding heavy cream; stir until smooth.
  6. Return chicken to skillet to coat with sauce, then mix in drained pasta; add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
